Today Richard talked about his recent trip to El Salvador and the difference faith & hope was presently making the lives of young people in that country. He just got back from a 3 day trip doing skateboard outreaches in La Libertad and the capital city of San Salvador. We also finished up the 1st Step Instructional Video. Next week we will be putting on grip tape on a skateboard! Guest Professional Skateboarder coming soon! Chad TimTim? Christian Hosoi? Paul Rodriguez? You will just have to join the club to find out!!!

The first day of our MAD Club was December 3rd, 2008. Richard shared about what to expect from the program throughout the year and how each session would be broken down. Before the kids actually go and skate, we are watching the First Step Video, courtesy of Salman Agah, which is giving the kids a general breakdown of skateboarding 101. The kids were stoked!

This year we are excited to announce that Carr Intermediate School in Santa Ana will be experiencing our Skateboarding Making A Difference (MAD) Club. The orientation in November was exciting and we have dozens of students signed up. The Skateboarding club will meet every Wednesday in room 501 from 2:45pm-3:45pm. Please make sure you have your parents or guardian sign the required OCYC waiver. Richard Mulder will be our instructor this year for Carr Intermediate School. We look forward to seeing you all there!
